Hello everyone :-)

I just finished reading all the posts and want to thank everyone for all the prays and support. They mean so much, I can't thank you all enough....
My rehab is going well I expect to be on the rower within the 2 weeks, The knee is feeling good still swelling stiffness abounds after P.T sessions.
Doctor has given me the go ahead to do some do some rowing, nothing over 15 minutes for the first couple of weeks and and nothing hard.
This is my 6th surgery that my knee has had, and my toughest to date, it was a triad injury, ACL, MCl and torn Meniscus. this is my 2nd Triad.
The Meniscus is pretty much shot, they removed the tear and smoothed it out and for the ACL and MCL they were able to reattach the ligaments and I have been going thru P.T. with heat and cold therapy, along with a new Blood flow stimulation. which is going pretty good. I will be in a brace for another 3 weeks. The legal battle is going as expected slow, but with an outcome that favors us. I can't thank everyone enough for all the comments and prays, they mean so much. Capt's Izz's email was very much needed an appreciated. He truly is a Captain!!!!!!!!!!!! I know the next few months are going to be a little slower but I feel good about the outcome. I will keep everyone informed from here on out... I have not been with my friend "Erg" since Dec 2014. The one good thing about all this is that I have been able to keep my weight in check.

Thank you all again....
I will be back!!!!

Sorry for your injuries, I relate due to knee injuries of my own in the past: you can and will get past it. hang in there and get WELL!!!!!!

That said, please know, I WILL be rowing 100k to 125k+ a day for this challenge BUT this WILL be my last challenge of posting meters and last season here. If aNYONE COULD ROW MORE METERS, EVEN 15 TO 30 MINUTES A DAY, THAT WOULD BE SO AWESOME FOR US ALL! Darlene's team has not that many more members yet stomp us... it is sad... it is also sad we are where we are in many challenges from one rower and no one cares to meet that rowers meters nor tries to assist the team like that rower does DAILY...

Anyways, I will be losing my internet access very soon (at end of this season) and while you all may live in a city/town and not understand it, me, I live in a very rural area, on a 14 acre plot and I drive a vintage vehicle and do not own a modern tablet gadget so trips to a local library to pay for internet access is nt an option for me. nor do I have close neighbors to "borrow"their internet from, and then, I would not go and ask either. driving into a town to pay for internet service to post my meters instead of being able to eat is not an option, sorry. So, please, after this challenge has ended do not ever email me again, asking me to return.

I realize this may be harsh, but understand I am a single, older, disabled female, all alone with no one to count on or help me but myself, and i do not mind that at all. BUT I do mind being asked to help out when it is a toll on me. If every member posted meters, I suppose it would not be such a big deal, but carrying the weight over and over is hard, and when you are emailed and asked to come back cos the team depend on you.. well, them match my meters at least halfway please if you are going to email me that...

Still, I am glad to see I am beating Darlene and I will do 150k meters a day f I have to to ensure she does not pass me in this challenge... I wish I could do more but I am only one old lady... If everyone found 30 minutes more a day, and put in just 5k meters a day, it would help our team more than you could ever realize...

with that, peace out all. I will continue to row and post 100k to 125k+ a day, till this challenge is done and I will post my meters through the end of this season; after that, I have to be done and I am sorry for that.

So, see you on the other side some day.

Interesting.... First off, I am sorry to read of your hardships. You are very likely in a unique position and explaining that to us really helps make you real. Thanks for that. Sharing a bit extra about yourself really adds to the value of our interactions.

I am sorry you feel a burden to carry this team. I am unsure of exactly what was done to make you feel such a heavy weight. I have always felt like everyone here puts in what they can. We each get something different out of the competition - it motivates us differently. I can respect that.

The challenge of rowing extreme meters is one of time. I might be able to find an extra 30 minutes to sit on a rower, but to what end? I would be no healhier. I would be no faster. In fact, I would very likely hamper recover from previous workouts. Others may simply not have the time. A few might just not make it a priority. Each and every one of those people are okay. I don't need them to change. We are here no matter their engagement.

I feel a bit like you are telling their group that you made a great sacrifice for us and we have been ungrateful. Well.... thanks. Hope this "thanks" is somehow fulfillling for you. I don't want to trivialize our interactions on this site. They can be quite real and rewarding. However, it is what it is and we shouldn't expect too much from it.

I haven't been very active and honestly do wish we could have gotten to know each other better. As it stands now, one of my few interactions with you is this 'go to hell' post attached to another members post-surgery report.

What you have done on the erg is impressive nonetheless. Best wishes to you.
