Thanks John! The holiday with family part was nice, but some guy turned left in front of us in an intersection and we were totaled (rental car). Hubby's back is out and I've got some very tender (but thankfully not broken) ribs where the seat belt grabbed me. It was terrifying to say the least. I haven't tried any exercise yet, but at least I can breathe deeply again. We're grateful no one was really hurt, but it did kind of put a damper on things for a bit.

I hope everyone else had a good Thanksgiving and/or Hanukkah!

So sorry to hear about your accident, thankful no one seems to have been seriously hurt! I hope your hubby's back isn't too bad. A really good professional massage sounds in order, for the both of you! A nice de-stressing Spa Day, perhaps?

Geez, Lisa. That is scary! I know those airbags can really bruise you. Don't overdo it. Go see your friendly neighborhood chiropractor and/or massage therapist.

Thanks guys... I'm thinking massage too. The airbags didn't go off -- so either we got down below 30MPH or Dodge Darts suck! (That may be true independent of accident-related factors. :P )

His back has gone out like this before but it had been a while. The funny thing is he was OK until the next day at breakfast, then bam! Major spasm. These old bodies just have trouble absorbing the shock like they used to.

On a separate note, as usual, Concept2 is taking some time in changing over the affiliation page to report Holiday Challenge meters. When it does, we'll be able to report individual and team earnings. Row strong team!!

On a lighter note, pun intended! I crossed a weight-loss threshold this week. At my Saturday morning weigh-in today I tipped the scale at 199.5. The first time over 25 years I have been under 200 pounds!

Lisa,
I hope you guys recover quickly.
Hot tub can help with faster recovery IMO. The warmth and the massaging action from the jets are restorative.

And as you know by now, Driving carefully is not enough- it takes luck to avoid the other guy.
