Finding the "right" team?

Post by jmb » March 25th, 2008, 12:27 pm

My Model E arrived yesterday, and I'm already enjoying it. Now I'd like to find a virtual team to join. While I've figured out how to do this, I'm having a hard time figuring out which team would be right for me.

Is there some central place that lists the goals of, or otherwise gives background on, the various teams? I've been able to pull up team rosters, and I know that some (but apparently not many) teams have pages in the Teams section of the forums, but I'm having a hard time finding general information about the different teams. It would be nice to know the goals of the various teams so I don't have to choose blindly.

Any suggestions?

The FS main page outlines their team concept. http://www.freespiritsrowing.com/content/index.php
Suggest you browse the FS forum if you want to get a flavor of the membership. The meterboard is a nice touch.
