Darryl,

Thanks. You said we needed to push Gabriela so she could reach her true potential. I love being the rabbit. Maybe I can make a few more days, so you better rest up because then it's your turn.

The up side is I am losing some nice lbs. Looking forward to being a lightweight. LOL

Funny guy, Dr. Dan. I'm a mere mortal ... you guys at the top of the list are card-carrying Luna-tics! (And I say this in a really positive and supportive way ... ) Also, I'm awaiting my C-2 heart monitor attachment-thingie so I can be assured I'm not working too hard ... heaven forbid.

Thanks for the congrats -- somehow doesn't feel like we have time to savor the moment during a challenge - yet it's the challenges that bring the milestones! Go figure!

We're 20K ahead of Timbuk2 - and we have same number of members! Go team!

Same for Andrea ;).

Amazing team effort on NARC. Motivated me to put in a few more meters :). As I posted this morning for yesterday, tomorrow I'll show a nice number in the stats, but it's for two days ;).

All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress for 3.19.08

Post by Kona2 » March 19th, 2008, 11:03 am

38 Million Meters! Impressive!
ImageImage

Way to meet the challenge of the 2008 NARC, Luna-Tics! We've added a new crew member, bringing our total crew to 57 for the year-round team; and, we've met two milestones: 1) crossed the 38 million meter mark; and 2) rowed greater than 300K in a single day (which is amazing!)

Season meters to date = 38,055,706 m (41 rowing days remain in season)

Total meters on the day = 300,912 m

39% of oars in the water!

Milestones:

1.9 MM Darryl B
1.0 MM Mike C
300K Rowin M
90K Sorin S
20K Joseph B

Million Meter Watch:

Barbara with (73,453 m) to go! She's heading down the home stretch!
Tom with (92,203 m) to go!
Kristine with (95,895 m) to go!

March Madness Challenge:

5K = 7 ImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

10K = 13

2008: We're in second place (or were at posting) with 1,121,558 m
See write up in NARC topic section.

Image

And the Pot of Gold goes to:

Rodrigo 31,686 m
Dan 26,249 m
Tim 25,340 m
Jane 24,013 m
Barbara 22,347 m
Chris 19,404 m
Mike C 17,676 m
Andrea 17,323 m
Darryl 16,516 m
Noelle 13,026 m
Peter H 12,884 m
Mitch 10,392 m
Jan 10,000 m
Orion 9,374 m
Tony 8,279 m
Mary 7,241 m
Steven 7,048 m
Joseph 6,093 m
Karyn 5,988 m
Rowin 5,000 m
Richelle 2,000 m

Thanks to all for moving the boat forward! I know that many are rowing with great inspiration (probably perspiration too) - as average individual meters look to be pretty high! Row what you're comfortable with - and what you have time to do! That's what teams are for - to help each other continue to move the team forward and promote rest days!

Marvelous! Marvelous!
