Woo hoo, blue boat girl!

No, ergs don't yet float, but some of us do, and here's where you get to discuss that other form of rowing.

Woo hoo, blue boat girl!

Post by Ducatista » February 29th, 2008, 3:02 am

The daughter of one of the guys I ride with (he flogs a beautifully tricked-out Ducati 996 around the WI twisties with gleeful abandon) is in the Cambridge blue boat for the upcoming Henley Boat Races.

No one among our circle of friends has the proper appreciation for that fact, so I figured I'd toot Sam's horn here. Go, Samantha! Do Madison proud!

Well, Cambridge is more of a seafoam green boat if you ask me, but the Duc is definitely red. Here it is in our driveway last summer, as we gathered for coffee before a Sunday ride (and yes, he's the one who set his coffee there):

Well, that seems a bit harsh... though I suppose some of them might be a little yellow-ish, when naked. People don't visit Cambridge for the sunshine.

I know, I was just funnin' ya, because I was referring to the powertrain, decked out in lovely mint-green. Blue, schmoo! :)

Anyone know if the Mar 22 races will be televised in the States? On, say, ESPN7?
