One difference between the US and the UK forums are the endless team threads on the UK side, and the supportive and competitive environment the teams create. But not being on a team, I rarely or never read those threads. Years ago I had thought of trying to join one of the UK teams, but never got around to it. I would have asked to join Sub 7 (not now though, I think I am staying with team rowpro). But I see lots of names I recognize from rowpro here on sub7.

But since this thread is here in the US, I didn't miss Chad's post. Great row, Chad! Nice picture too; somehow I missed everyone else at the DR display table in the confusion that day.

I think Chad is one of the only Sub 7 members ever to row at WIRC... I'll have to go check my records.

I rowed there in 2006. So did Craig. Cathy did as well but I think she was an Old Wreck then. I did feel a comment coming on there but I refrained, once again.

MichaelB, how did you get on yesterday?. Another PB

Beat me to it John... yes.. I've just found the details.

I'm envious... I'd ove to give it a go.

I'll wait till I can have a time to justify it though.. I better keep it realistic though or I'll never get there.

Sub 6:50?

oh yes.. most true.

If anyone is interested.... I'm renovating all the profiles of members.

If it has a photo... I'm "tidying" it... if you have nothing... then I'll find "something"

The template's changed too... the reason being is that the old ones wont match the new web site which will soon be situated at http://www.sub7irc.co.uk within the next 4 to 6 weeks.

Any info you want on your profile, let me know.... this includes photos too.
