Hello everyone,
Have been out after the JVC with flu. Finally feeling well enough to row again. The JVC was my first team event, have been rowing about 4 years and about 200K from 4 million meters.
Even tho I rowed my personal best in January my goal is to row concistantly and stay injury free. Lost a total of 13lb since November challenge.
Thanks to Pat and all the team for the forum and encouragement. :D
Didn't know we rowed against other teams between events. Where are all the stats posted?

Hi Chris..Hope you are feeling better each day.Sorry to hear that you have been sick..bummer!!
Pace yourself and get strong.
You can checkout out team progress/stats every day right here.I try to make sure that we all are up to date on the latest meters rowed, rankings and milestones.
We don't actually officially compete with other teams in the true sense of the word but the way we are ranked on the list it is fun to see if we can overtake the next position and it adds that motivating factor to our daily and personal goals.
So visit here often and see how we are doing. You can check the Team standing board at the Concept2 site and the Challenge page where you can see who rows at various averages per season.
Take care of yourself and great news about the 4 million meters..our eyes will be on that magic number!!

Congrats on Moving Up The Rowing Ranks!
We're heading towards the dark side of the moon these days, and who knows what we might encounter there!
Glad to see your team is growing - Pat, you provide a lot of motivation and positive atmosphere to your team! And the change in rowing rank will probably drive Saratoga and Willamette a bit crazy! Your virtual teammate and honorary TimbukTOOian....Kona2
Here is a test to exercise your brain while you are resting from a long row..

North American Rowing Challenge
Pat - are the virtual teams eligible for the NARC event that starts March 15? I seem to remember that we were eligible for NARC but not the Fall challenge - but perhaps this is wishful thinking. I can send a question on to Dena H, but thought you might know.

Countdown graphics for March Madness are very cool -
