WIRC Web Cast?

Post by Sir P » February 20th, 2008, 7:15 am

Will there be a web cast like last year for the CRASH-B's?
1609m - 5:07.3, 2000m - 6:24.0
3000m - 9:58.4, 5000m - 17:03.7
6000m - 20:44.2, 10000m - 35:42.8
21097m - 1hr 17mins 28.2secs

We will be doing the same as we did last year, which is to say there won't be a live web cast, but we will be uploading video as soon as possible after each race.

We do, however, hope to broadcast the race commentary live for the first time this year and we'll also be getting the results up as soon as possible after each race, along with race replays.

All this will be at http://www.concept2.com/crashb

Having not watched it last year I dont know what time scales you mean by that, are we talking days, hours or minutes? Just so I know whether to find a computer on Sunday or not.

Hi Andy,

The timescale should be minutes, hopefully around 10 - 20 minutes after each race.

Best,

David

Where has the UK website gone?

Post by bionic » February 24th, 2008, 10:32 am

Anyone know what has happened to the UK C2 website? Went to go on the forum but I can't get home page up. Has it been hijacked for the Crash-B transmission?

It seemed to crash about the same time as I lost the Audio Stream. Is anyone still getting the Audio stream?

Hmmm, I seem to have tuned into the radio at just the right time to hear the Rocket get beaten into 3rd by a new WR.

Don't think so
My interpretation of the diabolically bad commentary is that they have yet to give results of Roy's race...

Did you catch the times by any chance? I still can't get the audio, but fortunately the replays seem to be coming online.

The person who broke the record was somebody called Roland shuster (sp)
Was he in Roy's race?

I think the WR that was mentioned (they didn't say the time BTW !!!! ??? !!!) was for the HWTs (i.e. Ripley's record has finally gone) - again I might be wrong - looking forward to confirmation....
