More benefits of rowing..
You get more bang for your buck with one exercise.The rowing movement engages all major muscle groups as well as most minor ones.The more muscles that you use at the same time..the more calories you burn and you tone and build muscle.You can achieve both aerobic and anaerobic benefits.Some will say that this activity prevents osteoporosis too.I still scratch my head on this but hope they are correct.
Rowing works those core muscles..the ones that are the very center of the body and keep us strong and upright and mobile.
I cannot think of a better activity for all ages..than rowing.

Beautiful picture, Pat. There is nothing like being in the boat early in the morning - the air is crisp, the mist is still on the water, and the sun just rising - a great image to hold whilst sweating on the erg! ...Spring is just around the corner.
I agree 100% with your analysis of rowing as a perfect exercise. The more you do, the stronger, leaner, and more efficient you get.
