Hello fellow Timbuktoo-ians,
I didn't have a goal when I joined Timbuk2 and began the JVC other than to 'not' gain any weight throughout the winter months. I completed the winter challenge with an all time record and had hoped to continue at the 100k level.
I got so motivated that I completed 250k!!!!! My current goal is to reach 2 million meters by my birthday in mid-March(I have 129k to go.) and to catch-up on the things I let slide during the challenge.

Thank you!
Oh man, P-JAM, I'm glad you posted that little note of encouragement bright and early this morning. I didn't see it until 8:30 this evening, but it was the only thing that would kick my butt into gear and get me rowing this evening. "Row strong!!" That's all I needed.
THANK YOU! Another 5k on the books.

Back in the saddle!
Hi, team! I had a busy late week/weekend last week, but I'm glad to be back on the erg. It's been 6 days off the horse, and I'm glad it didn't buck me off today! I put a 5k on the books, and I'm hoping to make up for some of my apathy from last week by tacking on another few k today. But first... water!
GO TIMBUKTOO!!

Enthusiasm is power - use it!
Perseverance allows you to get back on track when you hit a detour.

GO TimbukTOO!!!!!!!!
Timbuktu refers to going to places unknown..making strides that go beyond our expectations. So row strong and never give up the journey..it is the journey that makes it worthwhile..not necessarily the destination.
