I read everything folks wrote, found the thread on the UK board (old dogs and tricks), read a bunch and watch the DVD a couple of times very carefully.

So today a really concentrated on form and kept my stroke rate below 22 SPM. So in 60 mins I did 13692 meters@ an average pace of 2:11.8 and 153 watts. And boy did it kick my butt. Managed to keep my heart rate in the 145 range. Reminded me of marathon training.

So thanks to everyone for all the advice and tips.

Well done,
I have been involved with a few people who have exhibited the 'perpetual motion' style and it's been quite a difficult thing for them to overcome.
To go from 33 to 22 spm is no mean feat.
Now of course you can suffer with the rest of us :evil:

Oh but it's a good suffering. That which does not kill me.....
