Please pardon a comment from an interloper here. It just occurred to me that you could have called it Teambuk2. And then I realized that in most languages that use the Roman alphabet, Timbuk2 would be pronounced that way (but the buk part would be more like boook). Just a silly thought. Time to get back to entering my last three days meters for my own team's benefit (LBRA).

Dangerous waters out there - time for big team action. Got home for a quick 7k over lunch - shoot for another 20 tonight - get home after 10p, should be just enough time. The suspense builds.

I like this 'TIMBUK2/TEAMBUK2' thing - very appropriate to this team!

Those stats are great - really motivating - thanks Nathaniel!!!!!!!!

I can't remember when I've been more motivated to exercise. I have enjoyed everything about this challenge... Pat's many daily postings were always fun and motivating. I almost felt like I was opening a gift each time I visited our forum... Nathaniel's daily stats were extremely challenging to me. I had hoped to be ''rower of the day'' once; however I am happy that I made it to the podium twice... I also enjoyed silently competing against my teammates.

Thanks to all who rowed and kept me rowing. Before this month, last December was my best month ever. I rowed a respectable 103,000m. This month I rowed 250,008m :D . I have never been so satisfied or fatigued since I purchased my rower in 1999 and began my rowing journey.

Great job Sandi..
I hope that you will join TimbukToo as your season virtual team so that you can stay with your great exercise motivation. It is located in your profile in a drop down menu to choose from.
This way we can all stay in touch and be joined together in this great venture of virtual rowing.Thank you for being a part of the Challenge!!!

When you stop and think about this challenge ..it is pretty amazing. There are 3745 people who are rowing. There are 227 teams. We have collectively rowed over 443 million meters.
Now..step back and look at this big picture as a member of TEAM TIMBUK2.
We are in 5th place out of 227 teams.We have 63 participating rowers.The team in 1st place has 674 rowers.2nd place..200 rowers.3rd place..128 rowers.
We have 63 and are in 5th place.Think about it.
That is really good.Len is #50 in a sea of 3745 rowers.Bob B is #67.Tom is #82 and I am so far #88...and so on...
You are all winners ..you stayed motivated and kept at it for a whole month. It feels pretty darned good doesn't it???

I guess we missed this sign coming into the docking area, because Boat TIMBUK2 is finishing at a high speed on this last day!

It feels good to have accomplished so much as a team and individually over the month. It's amazing!!
