The 2008 Team Moto Madmen and Women
OK - that was very funny but now I'm depressed. All of this rowing is either going to kill me or get me in shape...right now I definitely feel like it could be the former!
6000M this morning and I need a nap! Help, I need to go riding and remind myself why I'm torturing myself like this!!

No, you would be torturing yourself, if you made yourself ride that Hodaka around.tatonka wrote:OK - that was very funny but now I'm depressed. All of this rowing is either going to kill me or get me in shape...right now I definitely feel like it could be the former!

That's pretty cool that he would take notice like that.GREGH wrote:This was funny and thought you all might like the fact that we are making people nervous. This email is from the guy that is captain for the Ancients.
I just came back from having my sutures removed. Doc says lay off upper body exercise for another week. Sorry everyone, that only gives me the last 3 days of the month for rowing for the challenge. I'll try to do as many meters as I can, though.
I would be interested in joining a regular Moto Madmen And Women team. My regular team didn't even enter a JVTC team. Kind of nice to hear from other riders & learn about how they train. Even though I'm not a racer, just a street rider & Iron Butt wannabe, I'm sure I'll learn a lot from you guys. My main interest in rowing as it concerns riding is improving my endurance for long rides as well as losing weight.

Hey I think our forum is more entertaining than a lot of the other Moto websites out there (RiderDown and RacerX virtual trainer excluded). We will keep the team alive even after the challenge. To tell the truth there are a lot of people very impressed with what are team is doing both here at C2 and within the over 3000 people doing the challenge. I contacted RacerX Canada and told them about what we are doing and I am hoping they will do an article on it. I do have to say that after this month is over I may take a day or 2 off the machine. Let’s try and keep the ball rolling for the rest of the month. I have some idea’s for some great challenges that are more than just how many meters can you row. Moto Madmen and Women kick butt! And with that note I am off to go row.
I plan on taking more than a couple of days off when this is finished. I've got a race this weekend, so I'm gonna have a few days of inactivity coming up. So you other guys better pick up the pace.GREGH wrote:Hey I think our forum is more entertaining than a lot of the other Moto websites out there (RiderDown and RacerX virtual trainer excluded). Three days x 100,000M a day would be a nice way to end the month.LiteTruckRider wrote:That's pretty cool that he would take notice like that.GREGH wrote:This was funny and thought you all might like the fact that we are making people nervous. Good luck with the Iron Butt thing Kevin. I've done a few Saddlesore 1000's and they were toughThat's pretty cool that he would take notice like that.

Whats up guys and gals? This is my first post, so Im just saying Hi. I need to put some more effort into this rowing thing. Its tuff. But I spent a few days at moto town last week and felt great on the bike so i guess it will all pay off in the end. Please bring the warm weather back to the Northeast!!
