January Virtual Team Challenge

Post by pamlucken » January 16th, 2008, 10:24 am

I got an email from Louis-Eric and would like to join Team Canada for the January Challenge. It's a great excuse to spend more time with my lonely machine!

Hello,

thanks for the invitation Louis-Eric, but you didn't answer to my mail. I would like to join Team Canada - SilentStarLight(at)web.de

It is a good way to stay active.

I rowed about 40,000 metres till now, and a few more might follow this month.

Good luck to everyone and enjoy your time.

Joining Team Canada

Post by freewheeling » January 23rd, 2008, 2:05 pm

I responded recently to an invitation to join Team Canada that was in my inbox from a Louis-Eric Simard. I first just replied to the message, but that apparently didn't work, so I went to his profile page and sent an email through that route. I just noticed today that I am not listed on the team, so wondered what happened.

User Name: freewheeling
Email: freewheeling-at-willamettealumni-dot-com
(I antispammed the address, because so far this address doesn't get spam, and this website isn't encrypted or behind a firewall.)

I noticed that people seem to be listed according to their actual names rather than user name, and I don't think my actual name is in my profile anywhere. It's Scott Talkington.

Breast Cancer Awareness Team Daily Rowing Diary

Post by Kristine Strasburger » January 24th, 2008, 12:43 pm

Hello,

Team Captain from the LUNA-TICS here.

You guys and gals are doing a great job this JVC!

I have just created a new topic in the JVC forum for the Breast Cancer Awareness Team. It is a copy of Brian's daily rowing diary. Please visit this topic, and give him some encouraging words in these final days of the challenge. Don't forget to take the poll at the top of the page, too.

Thanks!
