Progress logged between Wed 16 Jan 06:00 GMT and Thu 17 Jan 06:00 GMT. Effort is the distance you logged in the last day as a percentage of your daily average for the month, so 100% means you're maintaining your personal average. A '/' means yesterday's logged distance has been split between the number of days since you last logged any metres (or day 14, when these stats were started).
Well done to all the above for pushing TIMBUK2 onwards.

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit.

Sorry I missed out on my meters yesterday...but got in some quality time with the kids in the snow (we don't get much of that in Atlanta).
I'll be doubling up today to make up for the lost contribution...
My favorite quote...have it on a plaque in my office and I think it applies here
:
“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent."
-Calvin Coolidge
Keep up the great work everyone!!!!!!!!

Congrats Team Timbuk2 on regaining 5th place - it's a tight race when you're separated by less than 7K from the next team.....shows the impact of just one person and one row...
Great team recognition by PJM - I like the daily postings of extra effort by individuals.

Hello i'm Tyler
I'm a novice rower affilated with west side rowing club in buffalo my best 2k is a 7:33. My team has won 2 regattas (Hogan freeze, Head of niagra) in the fall taking all the top places in our catagories (the boat i was in took 1st in hogan freeze and 2nd in Head of niagra). I do not own my own erg (wish i did.) so i use the ergs at the club or at my school to do my meters.
so hello everyone i guess.

The principle is competing against yourself. It's about self improvement, about being better than you were the day before.
Row strong!!!
GO TIMBUK2!!!!!!!
