Weight Loss/ Weight Control

Post by [old] zim32805 » November 11th, 2005, 12:30 pm

In my efforts to keep weight off, I visited my local certified dietician, did a metabolic rate test, and was advised to look at fitday.com. Free site that allows you to register for free. It breaks down foods into micronutrients and even charts if for you so you can see what you eat every day. (% of fats, carbs, protein) Of course, they'd love to have you buy the software for your pc but there is no push, no popups no email, nothing.

Its worth a look. I've used it daily for two years now.

Does anyone know of any similar sites?

I have used an application called DietPower at http://dietpower.com/. It does cost and will break down foods and nutrients and calories. It will also keep track of exercise calories used and water consumed. I like your website as well. Really interesting.

Doing this is great not only for a realistic view of consumed calories but I found some main things i was missing and was able to fix things a bit. Now I get everything in during the week without vitamins.
