No, I'm just lazy  Seriously though, I did say I'd try this goal in week 3 and revise, so 1h30m for now.

Hopefully - Any volunteers to start a new "HM Challenge Week 7" thread? 1 or 2 more might be tempted to join us.

BTW - Happy New Year :D

Happy newyear and best wishes - better late than never...

Sorry for my recent absence, I've been (still am) really busy at work (launching a new finance system) and my mind was not really set to rowing a HM...

My training has been minimal over the last two weeks but I intend to pick it back up. My HM goals remains 'anything under 90 minutes', but I'll see if I'm able to speed up over the last 3 or 4K. At the moment I struggle to keep pace 2:20 for 10K, so it will be hard work.

I'm glad the CTC is only 250 meters. I got 44.5 on my first attempt yesterday. How about a 500 meter challenge for week 15 lol.

I'll start the HM thread, reluctantly

Best(as of today): 6:49.9. I dont think I pushed myself my hardest on that one though.

What'd be ideal for me and help me get into varsity again is if I went sub 6:40 by the beginning of spring/our first 2k(the second week of febuary).

Anyone think this achieveable for a 6'2.5", 175 lb 16 year old who has plenty of competition?

So..

Back from hollidays, with a great tan but out of shape ;-)
Hardest I did was renting a surf board for two hours with a long "stand up paddle"

Look forward to the HM challenge now and hope my jet lag allows me to start trining again tomorrow.
