Hello, can somebody help me? I am crazy with the log card. My PM3 does not read the log card. What can I do? Thanks a lot.

Hi,
The 38- error means the PM3 can't read the card, even though it knows it's there. Try wiping the surface of the card (square gold spot) with some rubbing alcohol. This might help if the card is dirty.

Let me know if that helps or not. If not, I will probably send you a new card. Emailing me directly is usually the best (fastest) way to reach us. shawnl@concept2.com

Thanks Shawn, but the PM3 still can't read the log card.
You are very kind if you want to send a new card to me, but I am spanish and I live in Spain. I will buy one in my country. Anyway, I apreciate your offer. Thank you.

Fer:
Concept Spain is on holiday now, you'l probably be faster getting your card from the us

Anyway, tell Vermont that you have problems with the card, mabe they'll replace it for free.
Service from Vermont is excelent (when they are not on hols...)

My PM3 also dosen't work

I just started back on my Model B with a PM3 which I upgraded awhile ago.I had hip surgery 8 months ago and I got on it today! I completed 6404 m in 30 mins,My laptop could not read the card due to a faulty connection.Closer examination reveals the socket is completely detached and moves around inside the unit.

I beleive this is a defect from the factory,I wonder if Concept2 will replace it? Has this happened to anybody out there?
