Well done Troy! I think you've raised the bar higher than I can go this week/month. I'll be on vacation from next Saturday, so any effort would have to be this week and having got down to 1.42 pace (6.48 2K from 6.55) last time, I don't think that another 2 seconds off is anywhere near feasible.
Hopefully next month I can get back into the groove. I've only managed about 20K/week for the last 6 weeks and I really need to be doing more.
See you in the 12K
Dave

Dave - based on your Feb CTC scores, this should be right around where you should be - or better. With some more training this year, you could do some damage on the indoor race circuit next year as a 40 year old! (me, ... I'll be an elderly 45, so you'll have nothing to worry about ... Have fun on your vacation - looking forward to the 12K.
Cheers,
Troy

Hi all,
Not posted for a while, but still logging around 20K a week .
I just a wanted to introduce my 8 year old son, and maybe youngest Eh! Team member, Tom C.
Tom lives in Calgary and started using our C2 in February 2007, in between his swim club evenings and weekend ski club outings. He's not that tall for an 8 year old and struggled with his 1st 2k on Feb 20th, logging 15m32s.
Tonight (1 month on) he logged 12:58 (and stopped to remove his t-shirt) and was excited to see that this put him 5th in the U9 boys.
My only concern is when he inevitably plateaus, because I'm not sure my explanation of long steady rows and shorter faster rows appealed to him.
Coincidentally, Tom has an exact (first and surname) namesake in the Eh! Team, but Tom's got about 110K to go to catch him up .
He has a few swim meets left this season so I'll be interested to see how the rowing is helping.
Finally, kudos to C2 for making product that can inspire an 8 year old to shun the TV.
