Brigitte,

Sure, I am game, that way I can do two rowing workouts in one day! 19:00 GMT works better for me, but I am fairly flexible. If you want to do a long one that is fine by me.

I set up a 10k for Thursday, 19:00 GMT.

Jean, did I get it right that you are only rowing for less than a month?!? Wow, you are already very fast, you must be a naturally born rower! :D

Shannon, I hope that 10k is long enough for you? But of course we can still set up a marathon afterwards, if you still have energy left, and don't want to get bored in between your rows!

Hi Chaps

Fantastic - 10k on Thursday 7pm is perfect - looking forward to it.

BriK - yep just about to have completed my first four weeks on Thursday - the same day as our 10k - and have nearly logged 200k - am loving it - did some canoeing years ago but nothing since - have become sadly addicted to trying to beat my own times

See you Thursday

Just so you all know, Pete says the race server was hacked and they are rebuilding it, and it should be available in a "day or two". So if you can't get online thurs night, that is what is going on.

Amazing, Jean!!! And to make all 10 Nonathlon distances, including a full marathon, in less than a month, and great times in all of them! Goodness, where will you be in a year!!!

Great you are in, too, Shannon!!! Well, I hope the race server will be ok tomorrow, because I'm really looking forward to rowing with you girls, and since our times are very close, this might get interesting ...

Thanks for the info, Michael! I hope that Pete from Digitalrowing will be able to fix the hacker problems.

No need to be scared, Jean! Looking at your 10k time, it will probably be hard keeping the end of your boat in sight before you disappear in the distance ... so it's probably the rest of us who need to be scared! But I hope you will be gentle with us ...

Are you new? Do you want to try rowing on-line? Join us tonight at 7:45 EST (0:45 GMT the next day).

Two ways to sign up..
On the web at digitalrowing.com
Log in.
Click oarbits (right side)
Click on session list (left side)
Click on our row—30 Min Thursday Night.

OR

In row pro on your computer
Click on control center
Click on the internet tab
Click on Session list button
Put a check in our row0030 Min Thursday night.

Then on race day.
Hook up your USB cable.
Run the rowpro program
Click session set up
Click the internet button
Make sure the “use broadcast camera” is checked on the session set up tab. That’s the best part!
Our race will show up 20 minutes before the start.
Click “row”

Make sure that the blue task bar at the bottom of the screen is fixed
If you have it set up to hide (pop up and down) you will have a hard time seeing the “chat”

If you have any questions or want to try out rowing on-line another time, don't be shy! We love to show people how much fun rowing on line is.

Just another tip, it is a good idea to check in to "chat" 5-10 minutes before the scheduled race. That lets everyone else know you are there, and lets the group talk beforehand, in case there are problems or no shows.

Great times, fleabane! You sure are off to a great start and are obviously already very fit! BTW, usually people don't post 2 x 5K times as equal to 1 10K, though, unless they are also counting the rest time between the intervals for either the rankings or for Nonathlon.

Hope we get to RowPro together some time!

Hi Carla

That would be cool to try and get a row in together - re my 10k time - sorry I did'nt make myself clear  . I did a PB 10k time on Tuesday, and 2 x 5k on Wednesday - so figured another 10k on Thursday would leave me a bit cream crackered :D

Thanks to BriK and Shannon - it was another fun evening and very enjoyable - using rowpro really does make the rowing seem to go quicker and HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Shannon as she beat her current 10k PB time and is nearly back to her all time best level of capacity - go girl go :D
