Attempting to install the Fish game seems to have corrupted my PM3.

Errors are: Bad Command encountered - Screen Addr 43106 and Command Addr 43106

and it won't move off of these errors (PM3 version must be the latest since machine is less than 3 weeks old).

Is there a reset button that will restore/reset to original setup?

I don't know actually. Pulling the batteries should reset it. Often just letting it power down with 4 minutes of inactivity will reset it (unplug it from the computer's usb port if you have it plugged in). You shouldn't be having the problems you are having though, so I am sure that someone from C2 will want to respond officially, and/or you can contact customer service. But it is the start of the 3 day weekend, so not sure if they are available.

You may want to just reinstall the version 90 firmware since that should replace the beta firmware that comes with the fish game (that is what C2 recommends if you are having trouble with the fish game).

OK, I found if I hold one of the buttons in for a while it will run a diagnostic. which eventually gives the following error set, which it is now stuck on. (Though I can repeat the diagnostic.)

Bus Err - 16BE
1215 76FA 2180 1218
2015 405 B492 1
6E16 76FA 2180 0
200 0 0 1
72E6 0 C3F6 0
A6CC 404 191E 0
0 100 76FA 2180
E 0 0 0
0010
Screen Addr 172DA
Command Addr 172E6
record data, hold key to reset

Attempts to update the V90 firmware from laptop keep timing out to unable to find the unit via USB, probably due the fact that the diagnostic won't give up control.... PM3 update utility states:

ERROR: The USB read operation did not complete within the timeout period.

Thanks for the suggestion though.. battery removal only returns the diagnostic when they are reinserted.

OK, removing the batteries for a longer amount of time (I left them out for 60 minutes) allowed for a complete reset of the PM3.

I was then able to install the fish game with no hitches...
