Congrats on the hour PB Dave!
And super rows on the CTC everyone. I have still not put in a 1000 at 24. Maybe today....

51,000,000 meters and we are all ready in Mexico Congratulations to all.

And a special welcome to Holly C and Tom C to the Eh!Team. If my memory serves me correct, they helped us with the Cross Canada Row.
Welcome back!

Keep on rowin', eh.

What are you guys whispering behind my back????
Hey, you don't only have to pull your weight, but you will have to pull mine too!!! (---> I know this is screaming for comments ...).

Still struggling to get back into the row ... yesterday's 18k were pretty hard, and I could only do with a lot of breaks. Hope next week will be better ...

Cynthia & Dan ... you two should consider rowing in a double (or how do you OTW folks call a boat for 2? Does OTW rowing allow for mixed teams?)

Tyn, do you think we can get Captain Two to sign up? What is his 2k time?

Welcome back, Holly & Tom!!!!

Finished my 4th million (ever) last week. Pushing on to finish 1 million meters in 10 weeks; 177,195 to go. Plan A is to row a marathon tomorrow so I can finish the month with 15km daily. I see some of you guys may be catching up to Brigitte and me on the JVC so just thought I'd share the rowing plan, eh?

Brigitte,
Thank you. I am not fast, but I like to get in a row most days of the week.
I know you're erg isn't in Canada at the moment, I just meant the number of JVC Team meters might be enough to have crossed Canada during the month.

Hey, somehow, The Eh! Team didn’t get any credit for paving the way…

Did anybody else notice that bust of Lenin while we rowed past?

52,000,000 meters! and we have gone flying past Mexico City.
Image
One of the most populated cities in the world.

Great rowin', hosers.

I have not forgotten about our plans for a coastal row and I had better get some preliminary maps out here soon at the rate out boat is moving. I got caught up with some compression algortithms, security protocols, etc, but I think a basic map uploader (google ) should be ready for us soon.

Keep on rowin', eh.

In your honor, Tyn, I opened my celebratory beer with my Dutch bottle opener ...

Now if only I can get Don Quixote to stop sticking his spear in my C2 fan. It's not a windmill.
What am I celebrating? Just that it's the weekend and I don't have anything left that I have to do. That, and briefly pulling ahead of Shannon in the JVC. Okay, Shannon, it's your turn....
your turn to pull ahead in the JVC or your turn to use the bottle opener, your choice...

Don Quixote's from Spain, but I always thought the plains of Montiel were in Holland. I will have to ask Ancho about this... sometime.

"Sometimes", I think, applies to all of the above. :)

Hm, interesting twist of topic to that good old Don from La Mancha ... is it the windmills ... or ... the fact that he liberated the galley slaves??? B)
