Hi Shannon, I hope to join you later for the 45 minute paddle. It is supposed to be a rest day for me today, but I would like to try out RowPro so this looks like a good opportunity. It does depend on me getting the boys into bed and settled a little bit earlier, but I should be there :D

Hi Shannon

Not sure what happened with Rowpro. I was ready and waiting, everyone turned up then RP told me to withdraw as something was not set correctly. Did the rest of you get a session done? I'm out of RP credits now. I'm going to e-mail them to see if I can get an extension just to try it properly on-line and I'll be back here if I can looking for another easy workout to test it on. :D

Jenny,

We would see your name there on the chat and then it would be gone and then it would be there and then it would be gone! We kept saying, "Jenny, are you there??" "Oh, she's there, oh she's gone!"

We waited around for a bit and had one aborted start, but finally got a 10,000 metre row off without a hitch. We had four women with times ranging from 44:30-48:22.

We are planning another one for next Tuesday around the same time, so hopefully that time will work for you. I'll post on here once Brigitte puts the race up.

Oh yes!! Join in!! Any speed is fine. It is all about getting a group of people together for companionable rowing. After yesterday's row, we all agreed that we had gone faster and the time had passed more quickly than if we had rowed alone. One woman even got a personal best on 10K!

Why "maybe" I think you should.
It would be kind if you sent a reminder email.

Just a notice that Brigitte has set up another 10,000 metre row for Tuesday at 19:00 GMT. Any speed is welcome, it is all about participation.

Susan, I'll send you your very own personal nudge tomorrow!!

Can't do today's RP. I've already trained today, and hubbie is using the erg tonight (first session of IP weight loss :D )

Hope to get RP sorted in the next couple of weeks so I'll keep an eye on this thread.

Oh darn it!! I should have checked this thread before I rowed today. I would love to join you all for the next group row. I've been doing 5k rows, so perhaps this week I'll add to it so I can be a little prepared for a longer row. Looking forward to it!!

I set up a companionable row for Friday at 8 PM EST. We'll go for 30 minutes. We'll be going at 8 PM EST on Friday night which is 1:00 GMT (the next day.) I use a time converter to get it all figured out. That is 5 pm on the west coast of the US and in the middle of the night in Europe! http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html

I managed to keep 2:33 most of the row which is all out for me. Some go faster and some go slower. Since it is a timed row we all finish at the same time.

That doesn't help out Jean unless you are really a night owl.

We could set something up for Saturday.
