Floor Mat For Rower

I was just wondering if concept 2 sells a floor mat to put under the erg, if not where can I get one? Thanks

If you are rowing on laminate or another quality type floor, try the non stick drawer liners. <br /><br />Home Depot has them for $2 a roll or so.<br /><br />If you are rowing on a concrete floor like me, then wrap the rubber feet around with duct tape a few times, flip the tape over on top and keep wrapping it a few more times, i.e. so the tape will stick to itself in reverse.<br /><br />Then put the legs back down where you want them, and the erg won't move when you row.

I used 3 packages to go under 2 ergs and the total price came in under $30. This would not be good if you are looking for something that needs to be rolled up and out of the way. Our application was to keep the sweat from getting on the hardwood floors, and the room is dedicated to the Ergs/Slides.

I have a dirty brown oil line on the carpet of my bedroom <br /><br />But now I have put rubber beer matt's under it. You know the long one's they have on bars.<br /><br />Two fo these does the job:<br /><img src='http://i12.ebayimg.com/02/i/05/40/e9/7a_1_b.JPG' border='0' alt='user posted image' /><br />two are Just long enough to go under the monorail. and they are the perfect width (about a foot wide).<br /><br />Upside down is just black. Or have the nice Carling logo to make you row to get rid of the beer belly! lol.

FWIW, I've had excellent results with small carpet samples which never made their way back to the carpet store. My surface is a a hardwood floor (plenty slippery), and I place the carpet side to the floor surface so the feet of the C2 sit on the backing. I don't flail much when I row, and this arrangement has proven stable for several years.<br /><br />Erg on.<br /><br />Terry

Question for C2 on this (anyone there will do).<br /><br />Why is it that we can't order this mat on the US side (the one Citroen is suggesting)? Do you have something like this on the US side?<br /><br />I went to try and order it, and it's only deliverable inside the UK.<br /><br />Dwayne

I found a mat available in the US from <a href='http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/produ ... 0505508967' target='_blank'>Dick's Sporting Goods</a>, which is convenient enough for me here in the midwest. It's $40 for an 8.5' x 3'. I can't vouch for quality, as I haven't bought one for myself yet.<br /><br />A google search for "Supermats Elliptical/Rowing Machine Mat" turns up several other sources.<br /><br />Mike
