Saw some dutch racers in the M40 mix.

Crappola! I'd been next to last in the M50...maybe last finisher. :lol:

I'm blown away by the power some of these guys have!!

As far as webcasting goes. I thought that there was software out there that hooked up to the computer and showed the little boat pictures as they moved down the course and you could link that to a large screen.

Seems to me that a webcasting could link into that as well. Perhaps focus on the competitors before or at the start and then mainly show the screen with the boats for the race, panning the racers on occasion and if there is some real tight action going on focus in on the competitors involved.

Of course it takes money and expertise to really put on a decent webcast of any sporting event. The UCLA B Ball games I've seen on webcast don't compare with the TV coverage. And TV doesn't compare with being there.
