Nice Job, Catfish! You almost caught the old fisherman's record of 3,240. I took a few months off the fish game but am back mixing fishing in with my normal rows. I have played 1,288 games to date.

My best scores are 3,240, 3,210, 3,060, and 3,000. ALL rest of the 1,284 fish game scores have been below below 3,000.

With a score of 3,210, you were just one little fish away from tying my record.

I am now teaching members of our local YMCA to row, log their results and enjoy your fish game.

How can you guys possibly get that high in the fish game?! My best is just over 2000, and you guys are getting 1000 more than me.

Catfish was one of the designers of the game so he should have one of the best scores recorded.

I have played the darn game 1,296 times. If I haven't mastered it by now, I am would be a slow learner.

I look at a season as 25 straight games. I now have had 20 or more wins for 28 straight seasons. A win is a score of 2,000 or more points each game. Less than 2,000 points is a loss.

My last 5 seasons have been records of 23-2, 25-0, 23-2, 23-2, and 23-2.

It just takes practice. More technique than strength.

My last set of 25 straight games had an average score of 2,368 with an average of 789 meters per game. In that set, I had 23 of the 25 games above a score of 2,000. The two I lost were scores of 1,830 and 1,980. Sometimes the fish a not plentiful enough to hit a score of 2,000.

My longest win streak of consecutive 2,000 games is 79 games.
