I'd like to see teh following features added to the PM3 software:

1. after downloading your workout data, the update utility automatically upates your online logbook.

2. screen light for the PM3 monitor, either back lit or a battery operated attachment... I like to row while watching movies, and sometimes I prefer to have the room lights off, but I cant see the performance monitor if I do that.

SF

That's not uncommon - I do the same. Some sort of backlit display or a small light on the PM3 would be good.

I used a D for the first time, in a hotel. It had a handle with hard black rubber. Provided me with a collection of blisters on fingers that I hadn't seen in 40 years, after a 30' pull. That's just what us real oarsmen want. The C and C2 sculls give me none at all.
PM3 looks fine, very easy to use and plenty of choice, but reaction times seemed a bit slow, so not so easy to change readouts on the fly. Needs good aim too with all those buttons.
I liked the memory function. All those who had been on the mc before me had done 2, 5 or 10' "wos" at 30-35, most <50W, made me feel like Tarzan.
