My Experience with the Model E

Post by Monopolisf » October 3rd, 2006, 11:47 pm

All,

I just wanted to say that I'm very pleased with new Model E erg. I've trained on a Model D at my local health club for the past two years and ordered the Model E for my home last week.

Although some have suggested the minor upgrades/changes are not worth the cost...I would urge anyone in the market for a new rower to consider the E. The upgrades are subtle but very refreshing. The added clearcoat and darker colors tremendously improve the visual appeal of the machine (which is nice when setup in your home/living room...and I personally never liked the pale blue color of the D). The added 6" of seat height is fantastic for viewing a television. In addition, the extended monitor arm makes it much easier to adjust the settings while rowing (note the arm is metal as opposed to plastic).

Other changes include the inclusion of a heart rate monitor, an enclosed chain housing, and a nickel plated chain.

Overall, lots of small changes which has resulted in an even better version of the nearly perfect model D!
