Corrupt Log Cards?

Post by Barry Turner » September 15th, 2006, 5:06 pm

I upgraded to to 4.04 and copied the information on my log cards to file. Ever since I can no longer use the log cards the PM3 gives an error.
I tried coping a backup back to the cards but I just get a message the log card is not valid.

Anyone shed any light on this?

I have tried erasing all data and users but it won't even let me do that.

Using the PM3 to read the card.

Seems both cards can not not be read or erased. I have tried the cards in different PM3 to be sure my PM3 is Ok and still no luck.

I have updated the PM3 to v97 (and then I had to update rowpro as well, wait a pain) Still no joy.

The error codes are 139-46
and 139 - 1

I've got a new card and its working now.

Still would like to get the other two cards working again though.

Email Scott Hamilton at C2. I had card issues after I upgraded to 4.04 too.
The card became corrupted and he and his developer managed to resurect 99% of the data. Now I make more regualr backups!
Good luck!

Barry: Thanks for contacting me via email. I've sent to your email address some questions and requested a zip copy of your LogCard backup files so we can take a look and see if we can figure out what happened.
