We have moved along quite rapidly into New South Wales, thanks to the return of some of our Eh!Team members that have been away for the summer.

We are now just north of West Wyalong. This is the farming country of Australia. We should be into Sydney within the next few days.

Keep on rowin', eh.

Great rowing, Zeb!

Wow, I guess we now have the youngest boat on the water! :D

Jim, somehow I seem to have bad karma with the Around-The-World-DB ... somehow my meters from yesterday (13316m) didn't show up there. I have no idea why! :?: Well, at least it is still alive this time!

The way it works is the program looks at your meters on the publicly availabe Concept2 Site. I compare the meters listed there to your previous total, if the new total is higher, it assumes these are new meters rowed and adds them to the Eh!Team site.

So two possible causes:
1. meters not added to the c2 site
2. The total on file for you is too high somehow

The last row showing for you is a row of 18000 meters on Aug 28.
You can check the rows that the Eh!Team records at The Eh!Team Log
Click on the calendar to see only rows on that date and click on the column headings to sort by name, date, distance, etc....

Hope this helps. Check your C2 logbook first and if it is there, let me know and I can easily update our Eh!Team log with it.

Keep on rowin', eh.

Hi Jim, I looked up the Google Earth file right after I logged my meters on Aug. 30 in the morning (29th still in your time zone). The 13316m didn't show up there, and is missing in the Eh! Team row log, too. But it doesn't really matter as since my C2 logbook is ok. The Google Earth stuff is just for the fun of it ... So there is no need to fix anything, I just thought you might want to know.

Brigette:
I have corrected the error, thanx for pointing it out. If anyone else is missing rows, let me know and I can update things manually.

Your row now shows up on August 30, 2006 and it puts us over

27,000,000 meters!

Keep on rowin', hosers.

Hey, hosers!

We are almost half-way around the world. We should hit the half way mark today or tommorow.

The half way mark is 27,929,517.5 meters.

We are at 27,883,546. So just under 50k to go.

Keep on rowin', eh.

Yup, the second is half is downhill, but it is way harder, keeping that erg on course through the moguls and around the corners. Keep those arms in front.

Keep on rowin', eh.

We are half way across the Tasman Sea. As you will see in the article there are sea-spiders the size of a dinner plate, fish with teeth bigger than their head and wonky-eyed squid. I recommend rowing cautiously and staying in the boat over the next few days!!!

These are just a few of the creatures they have found in the Tasman sea.

Just imagine what they haven't found!!

Keep on rowin', eh.
