Interested in everyones total hrs of training, including lifting, running or swimming etc, not recreational activities but specific training aimed at improving your rowing performance.
I've had to cut back to only 45 min (75-90 min previously) of off water training per day due to other commitments and have noticed a 5-6 sec increase in my 500 rate over 2000!!

We'll see what the 2007 season brings. Hoping that quality, focus, and customization (thanks Eddie!) will trump pure quantity.
Last season, 5 to 6 hours each week on average, with several 7 to 8 hour weeks sprinkled in, but many "junk" meters. Started season as a newbie at 8:36 for first 2K, down to 7:19.0 by season's end, LW.
If I can do it, you can do it. I am no athlete. Just sit down and row!
Junk meters?
