BiRC entries now open.

Post by Chad Williams » July 25th, 2006, 6:45 am

BiRC entries are now open on the other site, looks like you can enter on line.

What will it be?
Dwayne Adams - 40-44 Hwt, Dwayne Adams - The Open or Dwayne Adams - stay away as I am to scared.

Adams, If you are not at BiRC you better be at WiRC.

Is anybody from this site flying into the U.K for BiRC?

Ha ha ha. Race me LW and I'll kick your butt ...

BTW, I will smoke you at the pub, no matter what weight/age class. Not doing that Phall thing though. No way.

But you do need to come and have a curry wth us Sunday night Chad.

This will actually be a load of fun. Lots of great people, lots of fast times, lots of anticipation. I can't believe that the list of attendees is already circulating on the UK site ... still 4 months away. Wonderful stuff!

Mumbles. Dwayne can not, never has and never will be able to beat me. He has never rowed a sub 7 at any public race he has ever attended, what makes you think that will change now?

I however am improving month on month, every 2000m I have rowed I have gone quicker and quicker.
Dwayne will never be brave enough to race in public again, the game is up, it is game over.

I am training to be the best 40+ performer on the Erg ever. BiRC will be an exciting race to watch. Not as exciting as WiRC 2007 though. it is not often you will get to see 40 year olds row sub 6 minutes and now there are a few of us that have the ability to do so.

Mumbles, Dwayne will never beat me, even for those of you that believe in him to be capable of the times he claims, I would still never let him beat me, you would have to carry me of the C2 machine in a coffin for me to lose to anyone. I refuse to be beaten, I never have been beaten and I don’t intend to start losing now.

Tut, tut, Chad, never say never, has Dwayne not said that he will race WIRC, has he ever said that he will race a meet before and not done so (that was not sacrcasm, i actually would like to know whether he has). Are you really confident that if you had too, you could pull a time in the mid 40's, i also have never lost on an erg and do not intend to do so, but i would never be so cocky as to say that it will not happen, it almost certainly will as i will have to race open category at BIRC due to taking a gap year and there is a fair chance that Peter Reed is going to kick my ass. But i cannot imagine how embarassing the situation might be for you were Dwayne to turn up and kick your ass!

Mumbles, with respect, it will not happen. I have no need to be cocky. I am 6’ 8” tall, 215lbs and can pull a sub 5.56.0 2000m, those are the facts. Where’s the proof you may say, the proof is coming at BiRC and WiRC

Dwayne can not row a 5.46.2 the proof is coming for this too at WiRC 2007 as Dwayne hints he will be attending this event, somehow I have my doubts.

PS/NB - I think I will buy a video camera just in case this race does happen. Still photos will never do it justice. Battle of the Forum Titans, as it were!
