Since this thread won't go away, I'd like to offer five ideas for additional UNMODIFICATIONS (sic) to the erg.<br /><br /> A bit of code in the software used in the PM3 that slows down the pace when the erger rushes the slide.<br /><br /> A system that measures body position and hand position and flips the erg over when technique gets sloppy. <br /><br /> Something to knock the crap out of an erger (or even tosses them off the erg)when he or she doesn't feather the oars or gets sloppy on the recovery or at the catch.<br /><br /> A way to make the handle travel in an arc for sweep rowers, and to use two handles traveling in two arcs for sculls.<br /><br /> A device that jams an oar handle into an ergers back when he or she eases up and does not keep up with the stroke.<br /><br /><br />In all seriousness, the Model D is a great machine.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />
