Competition
Thanks for that info John

When you rank another time later, it automatically removes the first time from the rankings.
This is regardless of age, and whether the 2nd time is faster or slower than the first one.
Unfortunately this means that those rare individuals who have rowed times fast enough to hold the unofficial world record in two age divisions at the same distance in any given ranking year are limited to holding only one record(age division).

That's pretty exciting.Chad Williams wrote: I have been rowing on the Erg for just over 18 months, I cant remember exactly.
My first 2000m time was 6.12.9 I have had four 2000m test to gauge my training, my fastest time for 2000m to date is 5.58.1. These tests were to reset my training paces, none of these have been with a taper or any speed work sessions before hand. I am yet to race in public.
Coach has a 2000m test set in the middle of July to allow him to work out the pacings for my speed sessions that I will start in my build up to BIRC.
I hope to be 3-4 seconds above the current 40-49Hwt WR at BIRC 2006.
My sporting background is basketball, boxing and I moved into the bushido.
I am sure everyone here is looking forward to see you in action.

Tomorrow, I move to the 50's. I will be glad to be out of this class!!
(Tonight, I will have a beer or two and not even attempt to break the WR!)
Good luck in your training and "real" 2K.
Cheers,
Paul Flack
Happy birthday!
It is depressing what's going in this age group.
I am going into hibernation until I hit 50 too.

Yes, that is true.cbrock wrote:Unfortunately this means that those rare individuals who have rowed times fast enough to hold the unofficial world record in two age divisions at the same distance in any given ranking year are limited to holding only one record(age division).
However, when C2 enters the times, then they stay. I have seen C2 enter 3 or 4 times for one person in a 2k, for the same year and same age. You might ask them about this in your case.
Thus there seem to be two ways to have the times entered for both age groups.
One is to have the first age group times be entered by C2. Then use your regular sign in for the second age group times. The other is to make a second email address and enter the second division times that way. Then you could have 2 sets of times in the rankings, 1 set of times for each age.

The problem with that is your c2 user name sign in is your email address.holm188 wrote:You can always create a new profile with a new user name
So you would still need two different email addresses.
