PLEASE I am deperate for help. I went to use my model D last week and when I stuck in my card I got a "screen err 16974" message.... What the heck does that mean? How do I make it stop?

Also, without the card in, when I go to choose a custom workout I get a "screen err 15442" message. I hope that is because I don't have the card in.

Can anyone shed some light on this? I admit I haven't used the rower in a couple months but I did do the upgrade last July.

I think I have filled MAYBE 7% of my card.

HELP!!!!

Many thanks
Debra

If that does not work, try removing the batteries for 1/2 hour or more or try the solution for #2 below.

2) You may have updated the firmware in the PM3 and the new code was improperly burned.

Possible diagnosis method: Paperclip (or remove/replace batteries) and hold down the Menu/Back button. Look at the first 3 tests, they should say "PASS". If they do not, then the PM3 is not properly programmed. Just wait for the rest of the tests to pass or fail (some will fail if you don't follow directions to the letter, that's ok), eventually it will get back to the main menu.

Possible Solution: IF you have updated the firmware recently OR obtained your Rower/PM3 from a Crash-B Statalite Race in the last month, then please try updating your PM3 again and make sure it completes properly.

** Based on the fact that you updated in July and have not used the rower, this is the most likely issue. ***

3) Soemthing else is going on with the PM3 (not your LogCard). Please contact me for further assistance. Please have the information on the ProductID page available.

-- Scott

This is the cause of your problems. Somehow the update you applied did not take properly. Please try the update again, and make sure you see a confirmation on the PC that there were no errors when it is done.

Don't worry about the other errors at this time -- let's get the PM3 programmed properly.

If you would like some assistance, please contact me at 1-802-888-5226x3062 or 1-800-245-5676.

-- Scott
