"Hammer grip" is when your hands are aligned with your thumbs facing your face, rather than inward.

Imagine you've got a hammer in your hand and you're about to drive a nail. Like that.

On this apparatus, the grips for that style are closer together than the really wide ones I'd have to use for ordinary overhand pullups. Those are too wide for someone of my size, and I don't feel like I get as much translation as I'd like. (I don't really hang that far down when in the relaxed position, because my hands are about a foot farther apart than shoulder-width.)

2 sets of 10x100 meter peices...1 minute rest inbetween each peice and 5 minutes rest inbetween each set....a lot of my teammates were 'cheating' and pulling hard on the fly wheel during the rest, so they get a little head start on the peice...when they did this the peice would start out as a 1:17 split...i tried hard to do this but i just couldnt so i just did my peices right and i was still really upset with my scores

Krysta and Carla kick my butt at every distance over 2K (so far) ... I think it's great ... gives me some additional motivation to rise to the top of the women's rankings!

The 40-49 LW record is 7:09!

I haven't got it wrong have I, we are not talking about the 40-49 HW record of 6:48 are we?

Not even Ranger could improve that much.

..Chris

I can only share the distances I row ... nothing about pace, rate, fluids ingested, food eaten, supplement taken, music listened to, television watched, beer consumed, etc. Since there's no genetic testing at the CRASH-Bs (yet), watch out ladies!
