Don't know if it's training but did the 2x8x500 event in the 8 grand prix series. Hope to see many of you joining the competition as well.
http://www.concept2.co.uk/8gp/

Hi Peter,

Looks like a very good training!

Hennie

I did today:

2 times 2K.: 7:22.0 and 7:22.2

12k.: 2K. w/u and 8 times 500 fast and 8 times 750 easy. The first 2 times 500 were fast round 1:33/1:34 , but the last 6 times 500 I had to pay for it. These were between 1:37 and 1:42 .

A good training and the last one of this kind before the BIRC / Amsterdam and Belgium.

Hennie

Thanks Hennie. Nice to see you "pay" a little sometimes. I wish I had the time, ability and energy to copy your workouts...

By the way, the rowing machine allocations are out for the BIRC. You made the front row, as I predicted. You are on A3. See:

http://www.concept2.co.uk/birc/events.php

As I also predicted, I am a couple of rows behind you on C1. Had hoped to make it onto the second row, but there are so many entrants it was always going to be difficult...
