I've had my Model C for about 8 years and typically only use it once a week or so for some crosstraining. I did recently upgrade to the PM3 and the Model D handle though. Anyhow, had an easy 30 min row yesterday morning and then decided to see what I could do for my first ever timed 2K. I managed a 6:58.2. I know there are many that are faster, but I was pleasantly surprised. Maybe I'll quit running and concentrate on rowing instead. It's a much better exercise...

Haven't got this figured out yet, but for what it's worth...

M38, 6'3", 175 lbs

A sub-7 is an absolutely brilliant start. There are many of us who struggle a lot get a six-and-something time.
Keep it on, if you increase your erg workouts, you easyly will achieve a really great time.
Nevertheless, don't need to quit running if you enjoy it. Use it asa an x-training for erging
There are also some runners around this forum, check the Runners Thread
Ever given it a try on the water?

It's fun to see how much faster everyone's PB's are than mine! Below 7 on a 2K is amazing-I'd love to see what it looks like on the water! Today completed my first half marathon at 1:43:36:3-felt I could have gone faster but wasn't sure how I'd feel. Hands hurt a bit, but it was worth it!

Not much of a PB to brag about, but I added 9m to my unrestricted 30' today - 7829m.
Need to try to get to 1:52.5 for 8K for that one.
