New 5K PB from 18:53.1 to 18:47.6<br /><br />To be honest it felt at the limits of what I have at the moment and I know I gave everything to it.

Great job to everyone for all these PBs. Those 1k times are smoking. Johnny, I know what you mean about hitting your limit in the 5k, since that is a favorite race distance and a great result. I have decided to go sub7 I need to be under 18:30, maybe even in the 18:20 range, which means I have some more work to do (and so do you probably).<br /><br />Today when I woke up for the 1k race, I weighed in at 164.5, so I made lightweight for the first time. This is down 25lbs from a peak of around 189 a couple of years ago. I lost 10lbs over time by watching what I ate and rowing a lot. At the end of Sept, at 176, I decided to get serious and went on a serious diet. Dieting definitely affects my rowing, so it will be nice to start leveling off my weight at 164.<br /><br />I thought the row was at 9am EST, since that is when they used to be. So I warmed up at 8am, and logged in at 8:50, only to find out the row was at 10. So I had an hour to kill and had to do another warmup. After last weeks fly and die, I decided to row this one under control, focusing on technique (fast with the hands and no slamming the bar in the stomach). I had enough at the end to pick up the pace and sprint the last 200. I am disappointed in the time, but it is the first I can rank as a 40 Lwt (10th on the list numerically, so nice to crack that threshold at least). Final time: 3:25.4.

Did a 1:38.9 500 meter yesterday. My previous best was 1:39.2 done last year. Going under 1:39 was a goal.

Good for a 1K but too fast for anything longer<br /><br />Nice time that for a lwt.<br /><br />I slam into my stomach and if I don't do that it is higher and onto my HR strap.

Probably had my best PB ever tonight. After a full Boat race (6780) effort on Saturday and an all out 5K PB yesterday, I did a 5k@20 in 19:38.7 which is a big improve on my best of 19:52.5. <br />I really don't know where some of the pulls came from at the end. 13.8 seconds improve is something I would have not thought possible. I did 8K in total but I was a bit rushed as I went to 1.5 hours of yoga then. I think I might ache tomorrow

Two 5K PB's in one week is a mighty achievement!<br /><br />Had a quick look at your web-page idea, but very busy between work and BIRC prep, so I can't give it much thought at the moment. It seems like a good idea to me, so I will have a proper look next week and get back to you on it...
