7:00.01 oh so close, hard luck jbell but it is there next time.

Me, 30@20spm tonight and new PB by 17 hardfought metres - 7555 and I was through 5K in 19:50 which beats my best by 3 seconds. Looks like I need a dedicated attack at the 5K@20 which is probably my favouriter training session.

I believe you were feeling sick but kept on training. I tried it this week with a nagging cold/sore throat (when I normally would have rested to try to beat it), along with some Zicam to hopefully help me recover faster (I believe it actually works), and did not notice too much of a degradation in training performance (none actually). Did feel worse than normal *after* the workouts, but that was expected.

Regards -- Mark

New PB in the 1K 3:15.5 @ 1:37.8 pace. I m 6'3 135lbs and my current 2k time is 7:08.6 on september 1st, I havent done a 2k since then but I've been staying very fit since then by doing fall competitive rowing at st.catharines rowing club and school rowing has just started on land training. I m try to break 7 05 for march for the ontario ergometer championships so I can make top ten in sr 150lbs boys. For the first 2 or 3 months in school rowing were doing long ergs just to get miles on us, breaking 7 05 maybe even 7 00 is doable is it not?
