Broken bike erg pedal thread

My bike erg pedal came lose and fell out, but now it has damaged the thread that it screws in to. How do you go about fixing this? Thanks Jack

If you can determine the diameter and thread pitch, the correct tap and die should work. Or find a good machine shop in your area.
