Using PM5 monitor with the old Concept Dyno

Post by samwelsh » January 12th, 2025, 10:07 pm

Just noticed the new strengthErg will be using the PM5 monitor.

Got me thinking - does that mean you could plug in the PM5 to a concept dyno and you’d be good to go?

Does the strength erg PM5 have a particular profile/firmware uploaded to it to make it function specifically for the strength erg or do all of them have a settings/menu option for it?

I'm very sure there is a specific firmware on it to handle the strength erg sensor inputs, as the complete menus and datasets for usage need to be different.

You do realise that this is a customer forum, run by volunteers - concept2 don't have any input. Have you asked Info@Concept2.com? Send an email.
