ErgRace: bluetooth BT connection between Ergs and PC

Hello everybody!
I would like to host a Xmas event in my CF box and will be a Rowing 10 km race between 8 Ergs.

This is the setup:
8 RowErg
1 notebook + external big screen
ErgRace

I don't have ethernet cable, I would like to connect via Bluetooth all Ergs and to the PC, is it possible? Does it work?
I shall ID every Ergs with unique numbers (from 1 to 8) and create the race in ErgRace.

I can't find anything in the web that support my setup, please be so kind to confirm or tell me what should I get to make it working.

These are the only two ways to wire ergs for racing.
1. Do you have an eight port USB switch? You can wire every erg back to the laptop using that.
2. Else you need to go the RS485 route (using eight CAT5 and one USB-A to USB-B cable). Wire one erg to the laptop, wire each other erg to it's neighbour.

Or you can run a wireless race.

On a second tought, I will create a race on one RowErg and then connect all the other 7 wireless, no PC needed, no wires, tested this morning and it's easy and stable, the PM5 shows placement and other info, enough for the purpose.
