5k - 17:35. PB’d but disappointed as I wanted sub 17:30. Had a really bad moment at 2000m to go where I nearly gave up and lost a few seconds. Powered through the pain though. I’m pretty sure that if fresh I’ll beat 17:30. The grind goes on

Great work Anthony, you did really well to pull it back together. There's a 17:30 in there, it's just a fair old distance to be really dialled in for!

Good fight
Same goal for me to catch. Pretty sure I can do that, as my latest 6k was nearly on track for that. But have to do so and not only pretend.

Nice 5k and plenty of time for another go. I always found the 5k to be a distance that needs chipping away at rather than carving big chunks. You are always on the edge with plenty of time to have bad thoughts

Thanks guys. Will definitely get there. Been training hard lately so legs were tired from the outset. Shouldn’t have done it today really but starting taper for next Saturday from tomorrow, so last chance to give it a go prior to game day.

Well done on 100m sascha, looking strong!

Every time I've gone sub 17:30 I've always had a massive moment with about 1500m to go, so you definitely were on the edge, and I agree with Rocky, you need to treat it with respect and chip bits off. Next time will be better, but this is still a great result

Today was undecided which test to do on the rowerg, 2k vs 5k. Not a rest day since 23th August so need one shorter.

Faded after the half but I hit my target of sub 7.
Very painful  .
You've clearly got a very good engine, but it's still not easy to convert that into a sub 7 row.
With 2 months of rowing, I think it will be piece of cake for him, no ? I mean, he has a 6:48 2K SkiErg PB

For me this is the natural state
And I must say, sub 7 on the rower is kind of a walk in the park by now compared to when I started. On the skierg this is way more "difficult" (at least for me).
