New 10k best with a 40:38.6 , down from a 41:14.6. I just got possesed in the last 6000 meters as you can see by the splits below. <br /><br />2000 @ 2:05.3 @ 22<br />4000 @ 2:04.1 @ 22<br />6000 @ 2:02.1 @ 23<br />8000 @ 2:01.2 @ 24<br />10000@ 1:56.8 @ 25

Just have to train this distance much more!<br /><br />Hennie <br /> </td></tr></table><br /><br /><br />By the look of your PBs you are obviously very fit but your short distance PBs are quite slow. 16000m for the hour is amazing you should probably try some short distance work like 8 x 500m or maybe even some weights circuits to improve your 2k.

2k 7:53.8<br />I know for you guys that's conversational pace, but it was a helluva try on my part. Broke my old record by 15 seconds! New max pull of 1:27 as well.

Something about that 2 minute pace. Keep at it, and the time will come down.
