Not going real fast but at this point everyday will be an improvement. <br /><br />6/3 2,859 <br />6/4 2,939<br /><br />I'm sure by comparasion it's slow to y'all.<br /><br />Kris<br />North Dallas, Texas</span></span>

You are measuring youself against yourself; the other peoples results are there to provide inspiration and to help set long term goals, nothing more than that.<br /><br />Keep setting yourself targets; a bit longer time on the erg, a bit farther each time but remember that the real benefits and gains come from good training rather than pushing too hard each time for a PB.<br /><br />It is impressive that someone rows for 30 mins as this provides a good quality base for improvement. Stick at the 30 mins (and increase if possible) and try and work on technique and good steady stroke rate (not too fast). Look at reducing the split time a bit each time, BUT without overdoing it, so the distance starts to increase.<br /><br />And post the results; the measure is rate of improvement not the ultimate result. <br /><br />Neil

i did 2000m in 7:38 today - probably not a world record! but it took 12 seconds off my PB - over the moon....!!!

I finally broke the 40 min barrier in the 10K. New pb = 39:26.6. Sometime in the next couple of months I will try hold the 2:00 pace over an hour.<br /><br />Bert<br />
