CTC update, lets just recognise for a second that Terry has indeed completed over 100 of the damned things!!

there are alot of names there that have competed the CTC over the years, would love to know where they are. If i ever get past Nigel, I'll be putting it on the CV

Low turnouts for the last few and generally 5 boats seems t be the muster, even though we regularly get more than 5 ladies, which used to be the stumblng block

Very sad news about Terry indeed - he had a strong dedicated presence.

Both you and Nigel have quite a few CTC's under your belt! I don't think I will ever get that many accomplished.

As far as the women go - that definitely is no longer the stumbling block. Right now we have five women who have completed the challenge for September, but only 1 boat floating .

A reminder for the team that the Fall Team challenge starts tomorrow (Sunday) - be sure to sign up in your log book so that all your meters count.

Dudes! The women have done their part for the September CTC. We still need 2 lightweights and a heavyweight to fill out two boats.

We managed to get one more boat floating - the last remaining boat on the dock has four seats filled - down to needing 1 more lightweight entry.

Seeing in the news the devastation caused by hurricane Helene--many pics and videos from Asheville, NC--I'm hoping our team members who reside there, Marc and Linda Voorhees, and Thom Green, are doing OK. From the looks of things, surviving a very bad situation is the best we can hope for.
My thoughts and prayers go out to them.
