I have just got hold of a pm3 monitor for all the world it seems to work fine apart from the menu/ back button doesn’t seem to work?
I can get onto just row
Workouts etc but can’t go back what weird is the monitor seems in very good condition infact I had to take the plastic cover of the screen it’s so new I also can’t find the reset button on the back any advice would be great

Sounds like the micro switch behind the plastic button is bad. You might be able to make it work by pushing the MENU button hard a hundred or so times. Maybe some sort of spray electronic cleaner would help.
Otherwise, the switch probably needs to be replaced. And for PM3, probably not worth it.

The reset button is behind a hole at the back on the left when the PM3 is facing you. You need a paper clip or some such to push it. But I don't think it will do anything more for you than a battery pull.

Common fault on the first gen PM3.
There is a track to the left of the MENU button that gets eaten away by corrosion.
Basically there is a small what should be gold plated copper small round test pad. You will find that it has corroded away.
I use a fibreglass rework pen, clean the copper tracks up both sides and solder a very fine copper wire across to bridge the break.
