Don't think of it quite so literally. Part of the problem could well be that you're going from a strong position of mastery, to a position more akin to a beginner and not reflective of what your ego will want to accept. I definitely suffer from that, but doing the Pete Plan, for instance, is really helpful as you see progress week on week, so you just need to address the initial inertia of getting started.
