I've had my new C2 almost for a month now. Yesterday I did my first 10,000m nonstop and I kept my HR right in the middle of the RRH+ (70 to 85 percent)*HHR. That was very comfortable. My intention was just to go 10,000m while in the target heart rate zone. Since it was my first 10K, it is my PB. I did 42:58, which puts me right in the middle of my age group.

Byron

Season best 2k of 7:08.1, less than 2 seconds off PB. Apparently turkey doesn't make you slow....

afolpe,
It looks like you could greatly improve your 2 km time. With your other times and distances you should be able to break 7 min.

thanks for the vote of confidence. i haven't done a timed 2K in probably close to 9 months. i've been using the c2 as a cross training tool for the most part, and so have been concentrating on longer pieces. i'm also being a bit of a weeny about the pain level involved in significantly lowering my 2k time. somehow suffering a bit less, for a lot longer time, seems more appealing....

andrew

I know how you feel. I also don't mind going relatively hard for a longer time, than really killing myself for a 2 km

Me very happy !
First i did a warmup for 2 km. Then i did a new PB at 1 K! My old time was 3:13:3, now i did 3:07:3! It's the third time i tried a 1 K.
In the ranking from 47th to 22th.

Strange, it felt easy. I rowed at a pace below 1:35/500 and i kept it steady from begin till the end. The other time i was in the beginning faster then in the end and more fatigued.
